About us

Tom Moore never planned on getting into the sign business. He was working at UPS when he started spending time at his uncle’s shop—a place where signs had been handmade and hand-drawn since 1960. What started as helping out turned into a passion Tom didn’t know he had. When his uncle passed away, Tom honored his legacy by taking over the business, setting up shop in his single-car garage with the same tools his uncle had used for decades.

As word spread and the work kept coming, he moved to an 1,800 square foot space, then eventually to the current 10,000 square foot facility in Ghent.  Today, the shop is equipped with nearly half a million dollars in state of the art technology—from CNC routers, laser engravers, to UV & thermal printers, and more—but the heart of the business hasn’t changed.

Alongside his wife, Tom runs Next Gen Signs with  three dedicated, full-time employees, still carrying forward the craftsmanship his uncle taught him all those years ago.
